Nothing is impossible!

101 year old sprinter Man Kaur has been nominated for the coveted ‘Laureus World Best Sporting Moment of the Year 2017’ Award by inundated votes!

She has received huge support from sports enthusiasts across the world by many votes in a global online poll. She is from Chandigarh. Earlier this year, she has also won the World Masters Games in Auckland. She believes that age is no bar to realize and achieve one’s dream. She expressed her warm gratitude towards being featured in the category of the award. She further said that she is feeling just as a youngster would feel after such an acclaim. She asked for more support from her countrymen and sports enthusiast from across the world to win the award.

Kaur won her first medal at the Chandigarh Masters Athletics meet in 2007. She is now aiming for one at the Asia Masters Athletics Championship at Rugao in China later this month.  You will be amazed to know that she took over athletics at the ripe age of 93! Her victory at Auckland was her 17th gold medal!

Such individuals are real motivators setting great examples for others and proving that nothing is impossible!
