Highly qualified IIT and NIT graduated hired as teachers.
Human Resouce Development Minister Prakash Javadekar had a good news for the engineering students in the backward regions. On Wednesday the HRD ministry made an announcement to hire 1215 highly talented IIT and NIT graduates as teachers in the engineering colleges in the backward regions of the country.
These freshly graduated were hired as the backward regions lack well trained and qualified teachers in this region.More than 5000 students from NIT and IIT replied to the public appeal for teachers, said Jadavekar.
This recruitment was a part of Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme which is an initiative of National Project Implementation Unit.
The students will have a remuneration of 70000 per month and will commence teaching at 53 institutes in India, including Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha among many others.
