Kaggadasapura Lakes loses it's beauty by being a garbage dump.
Kaggadasapura Lake in CV Raman Nagar has lost its beauty and spaces of land. The lake is been caught between Bangalore Development Authority and Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike.
As nobody came forward to take responsibility to revive this, being fed up by the civic authority, residents have taken the matters into their hands.
The lake which was spread over 52 acres has now shrunk to 37 acres after the indiscriminate garbage dumping and encroachments
Every Sunday 30-40 people come forward in cleaning the lakes and after the silt is removed, the same shall be used to make a bund. Hats off to all the residents who work together with full dedication to remove the dry waste and serves the society with their small contribution in order to revive the lake.
