The three-day Chenchu festival begins on Monday
The Chechu tribe in Hyderabad started the three-day festival at the Bhourapur Lake in Amravad Tiger Reserve on Monday.
The Chenchu tribals from Telangana and AP, Karnataka and Maharashtra attend the three-day festival. The festival allows the people to visit the idol of Lord Mallanna (Lord Shiva) and take its blessings.
The doors for the public will be opened on February 13 on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri in Appaipalli in Lingala mandal of Nagarkurnool district.
