Narendra Modi was conferred with the Grand Collar of the State Of Palestine.
On a Saturday afternoon, Narendra Modi was conferred with the Grand Collar of the State of Palestine. This honour was given to the PM by the President of Palestine Mahmood Abbas.
The Grand Collar was given to the PM for his contributions to promoting relations between India and Palestine.
Modi is also the first Indian PM to do an official visit to Palestine. He was conferred with the honour after the bilateral meeting between the two.
The Grand Collar is said to be the Highest order given to foreign dignitaries - Kings, Heads of State/Government and persons of similar rank.
