The International day of Yoga spells good news for India as it sets a world record at Ahmedabad

The GMDC ground at Ahmedabad witnessed a huge footfall on Wednesday as about 3 lakh people assembled to perform yoga frontline by Baba Ramdev who claimed that it is a world record.

Under the guidance of Ramdev, participants performed numerous yogic postures and asanas. At the conclusion of the one-and-a-half hour long session, Ramdev proclaimed that the event has made it to the Guinness World Records as nearly 3 lakh people performed yoga at one place.

He said that the officials of the Guinness World Records book who were also present at the event will declare the final figure of the participants after tabulating the data based on the bar code tag given to each person at the entry gates

Ramdev invited Shah and Rupani to join him on the dais and follow his yogic postures. Apart from the GMDC ground, yoga day was celebrated at all the district headquarters by the Gujarat government.
