Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit France, Germany, Russia and Spain from May 29 to June 3 for bilateral talks.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will tour for nations- France, Germany, Russia and Spain from May 29 to June 3. The four-nation tour is to perform bilateral talks with each one of them.
As announced by the External Affairs Ministry, Mr. Narendra Modi will have talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy. The following is the agenda of his tour.
On May 30, he will have talks with Germany and Spain. Firstly Mr. Narendra Modi will meet Ms. Angela Merkel at her official Meseberg Country Retreat to hold the fourth India-Germany Intergovernment Consultations (IGC) which they will later address to the business forum. Also, Mr. Modi will have a courtesy meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
On the same day, Mr. Modi will fly to Spain for a meeting with Mr. Mariano Rajoy and King Felipe VI. There will be a round table conference with leading Spanish business leaders.
On June 1, Mr. Modi will land in Moscow to attend India-Russia Annual Summit at St. Petersburg with Mr. Vladimir Putin. On June 2, he will be the guest of honour at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
On June 2, he will leave for Paris. It will a two day visit to France where he will discuss various strategic issues with Mr. Emmanuel Macron.
