Narendra Modi will make his third village adoption in Varanasi | My Indian Dream

A ray of hope for the villagers...

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will adopt village named Kakrahia under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. This will be Prime Minister’s third village adoption in his Lok Sabha constituency of Varanasi after Jayapur and Nagpur.

Kakrahia is called the wrestler’s village for its wrestling arena and is well known for its flower cultivation. After the announcement, Yogi Adityanath congratulated the locals of the village. He also distributed five solar-operated spinning wheels to women in the village. He further asked the locals to express their gratitude to Prime Minister for his adoption as this will bring about many facilities for them.

The villagers are very grateful and happy about the adoption and hope that their village finally gets the limelight and becomes a well-known name across the nation. On the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s gift to the women, they happily accepted it and said that this would help them earn their livelihood. Ravindra Singh, who coaches wrestlers in the village said that the adoption has brought a hope in the village. Now their village will also enjoy solar power plants, bank and post office. Also, he expressed the villagers’ wish of a sports stadium in the village for their love in sports.
