Government gearing up for a trash-free Uttarakhand
In a step closer to a trash-free Uttarakhand, the first waste disposal system was inaugurated in Rishikesh by chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and president of Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) Swami Chidanand Saraswati on Monday.
Developed with minimum investment, Kill Waste, a fuel-free solid waste disposal system, utilizes no fuel, requires no maintenance and technicians and uses simple equipment. It effectively works towards disposing off dry and wet waste without odour and harmful gases. The output is neutral ash, neutralized by activated charcoal and it can be used as manure.
