Distressed children in Kerala can now achieve their dream
Kerala has come up with a novel initiative called `Tejomaya homes' that will train selected children from child care institutions including Nirbhaya homes and Children's homes in the state to become IAS, IPS officials, judges and other top professionals.
As a first step towards that, Social Justice Minister KK Shailaja inaugurated a three-day skill training and personality development workshop `Prajothana' at Kovalam on Friday. The selected children will be given specific coaching for civil services and other competitive exams.
