What is it about animals that makes us want to invite them into our homes, onto our couches and even into our beds? Animals are beings that bring us close to nature. Having a pet not only makes you ore empathetic about other living beings but also builds more sensitivity in us.
In today's day when a new born happens to a couple, they adopt a pet dog or a cat. Growing around a pet has a lot of benefits.According to a study, Pet owners are just as close to key people in their lives as to their animals.
Pet owners are said to have greater self-esteem, are more physically fit, tend to be less lonely, are more conscientious, are more extraverted, tend to be less fearful and less preoccupied than non-owners.
Loneliness is associated with heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and other negative outcomes, but older adults who owned pets were 36 percent less likely to say they were lonely than those who didn’t have a furry friend, according to a study published in Aging & Mental Health. Especially among those who live alone, a pet could offer social interaction when other people aren’t around.
Pets not only reduce major health illness but also are the reason behind their owners daily walks and jogging. Your pups needs walk too and taking them for wals can benefit your health equally reducing diabetes and knee problems.
Pets have major benefit for children as growing up with a pet makes the child more generous, empathetic and helps him in understanding better. Pets,especially dogs teach a lot to us humans.
