There is a saying- You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food. Street food can be equally amazing and a delight to the taste buds and senses. We all carry happy memories of devouring tasty treats at various food joints with friends and family.

Food has a way of transporting us to the past. Along with the wonderful places that we visit, we also remember the mouth watering food that we had there. Following are some famous cities of India and food that are unique to these places.

Mumbai – Vada Pav

Rains in Mumbai can be incessant at times and relishing a hot spicy vada pav in this weather is nothing short of bliss. The vada is made of spicy potatoes dipped in batter and deep fried. It is sandwiched in a soft bun called ‘pav’. Vada pav is savoured with green chilies and dry garlic chutney. There are around 50,000 vada pav stalls in Mumbai and some stand out due to their distinctive style and taste.
