The Kannur Police Station which turns into a free Paediatric Clinic.
India is a place where we witness so many social problems every day, reading a positive article is a treat to our eyes and hearts. One such story of the circle inspector TK Retnakumar is something that will make you look at an inspector differently.
Retnakumar of Kannur Town police station gave life to his thought of solving the problem of various parents who faced a problem finding a doctor on Sundays. His idea was to promote overall child welfare and bridge the gap in paediatric care in the town.
This station cum clinic which was inaugurated last Sunday with a panel of 14 doctors also plans on providing free medicines to its patients and will soon have a tiny medical store within the station.
Till date, Kannur is the only one in the state with this paediatric care facility. Cheers to the police officers who not only give importance to their duty but also to the welfare of the society.
