  • Shri Chandrakant Pithawa is a Distinguished Scientist, an electronics engineer of exceptional ability who served for 41 years at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. He played a  key role in many strategic programmes including Pokhran tests & nuclear propulsion.
He has contributed to international projects including Large Hadron Collider, CERN, Geneva by developing control software for testing superconducting magnets. He has been awarded six DAE awards, Outstanding Service Award by Indian Nuclear Society as well as the Padma Shri award.
